Weed pressure on commercial sites is constant. Cracks in paving, gravel carparks, garden bed edges, fence lines: without a scheduled programme, weeds establish quickly and become expensive to remove. Holland runs regular chemical spray programmes across hard surfaces and soft landscape areas, timed to the season and the site's specific pressure points.

All spraying is carried out by licensed operators under current Growsafe certification. We use council-compliant herbicide selections and record all applications for your site file, which matters for body corporates, schools and healthcare facilities that need documentation. Product choices match the surface: residual herbicides for carparks and paved areas, contact products where soft landscaping is nearby.

Most commercial sites benefit from a programme of four to six visits per year, adjusted for the area's weed burden and seasonal growth cycles. Auckland's wet winters and warm summers mean spring and autumn are the highest-pressure windows. We assess the site on the first visit and recommend a frequency that keeps the site clean without over-spraying.

Weed control is often included as part of a broader maintenance contract, or set up as a standalone programme if you already have other contractors managing different scopes. Either way, you get a single point of contact, written records of every application, and a site that stays presentable between visits.
