Storm Response

When a storm hits your site, the first call matters.

Auckland storm events, particularly the kind that have hit in recent years, can leave commercial sites and body corporate properties with fallen trees, blocked access routes, damaged infrastructure and safety hazards that need clearing before the site can be safely used again. Holland provides emergency storm response for existing clients and managed sites, with crews available to mobilise quickly when conditions allow safe access.

Storm response work covers fallen tree removal, large debris clearance, blocked drain clearing, temporary fencing and hoarding where trees or branches have damaged boundaries, and green waste removal from site. We document what we find on arrival, photograph the damage before any work starts, and provide a written summary of work completed, which matters when you're dealing with an insurance claim or reporting to a body corporate committee.

Fallen tree work during and immediately after storms carries real hazards: partially suspended limbs, root plate movement, power line proximity, and unstable ground. Our crews work to current arborist safety standards and will not rush clearance at the cost of crew safety. If a tree has fallen near power lines or structures, we coordinate with the relevant authorities before cutting commences.

For body corporates and commercial property managers, having Holland already on contract means storm response is handled by a crew who knows your site, the tree stock, and who to contact. After the clearance, we can assess any remaining trees for storm damage and recommend what follow-up arborist work is needed to reduce risk before the next weather event.
