Holland Landscaping mows and maintains lawns across more than 100 commercial properties in Auckland: body corporate common areas, retail forecourts, school grounds, business parks and civic spaces. Our crews run zero-turn ride-ons and commercial walk-behinds with sharp, regularly maintained blades, because cleanly cut grass holds colour and resists disease. Edging is done with line trimmers and edgers on every visit, hard surfaces blown clean, and clippings either mulched in or removed to spec. The visible difference between a well-mown commercial site and an average one is stripe quality, edge definition and the absence of clipping clag on paths. We hold all three.

Visit frequency is matched to the site and the season. Through the Auckland growing season (October to April), commercial turf typically needs weekly cuts to stay within scope and avoid scalping. Through winter we drop to fortnightly or monthly with a focus on edges, leaf clearance and bed tidy-up. Cutting heights are set per site (lower for sport-use turf, higher for shaded amenity lawns and through summer drought stress) and adjusted seasonally rather than left on the same setting year-round. We also carry out spring and autumn lawn renovation: aeration, top-dressing, scarifying and overseeding for sites where the lawn is part of the asset value.

Every visit is photo-documented and reported to your account manager. If a sprinkler is broken, a patch is dying, an edge is encroaching, or a tree is dropping limbs, you hear about it from us before a resident or tenant raises it. Auckland conditions (clay soils, summer dry spells, autumn leaf drop, winter wet) mean lawn care is never just mowing. We integrate fertilising, weed control, irrigation monitoring and drainage observations into the program so the lawn is treated as a living asset, not a square metre on a job sheet.

Pricing is fixed annually and invoiced monthly at one twelfth of the contract value, so your budget is predictable. Out-of-scope work (storm cleanup, renovation, major weed treatment) is quoted separately before it starts. There are no creeping variations and no surprises at the end of the financial year. That predictability is why most of our maintenance contracts have been with us for a decade or longer.
