Holland Landscaping has built commercial landscapes across Auckland since 1997. The full scope sits in-house: site preparation and bulk earthworks, drainage, retaining walls in timber, block, concrete and gravity stone, paving in concrete, exposed aggregate, natural stone, pavers and permeable systems, decking in hardwood and composite, fencing, planting and turf, irrigation and exterior lighting. Engineered retaining and specialist drainage are delivered alongside consulting engineers with proper as-built documentation for council sign-off. Auckland's clay soils, high water table on lower-lying sites and intense rain events all force serious drainage detailing, and we don't skip it to win on price.
Every project gets a dedicated site manager, a written programme and weekly progress reporting. We run pre-start walkovers with the designer, head contractor and client to lock down levels, services, access and staging before tools come on site. On site, work proceeds to a sequenced programme with daily diaries, milestone sign-offs and proper health and safety. Quality is signed off stage by stage so handover isn't a punch-list scramble. Auckland weather is built into the programme upfront rather than blamed in week six. Pricing is fixed against complete documentation wherever possible, broken into clear sections (earthworks, drainage, hardscape, planting, irrigation, lighting) so you can see where the money goes and value-engineer specific elements without unpicking the whole quote. Variations are quoted and signed off before they're built.
